Running on the open list of the DP in Tirana/ MP: I will not be scared by this

MP Jorida Tabaku reacted after the officialization of the electoral lists yesterday at midnight by the Democratic Party.

After discussions, Tabaku was left on the open list of Tirana, a decision that, according to sources, was initially not well received by the Democratic MP.

Jorida Tabaku says that she is not afraid of this challenge, as she has earned everything through hard work. The MP thanks the membership for voting in the Primary and promises dignified representation for them.

 

"Thank you to the Democrats of Tirana for your trust!
I won the primaries with your support and was among the most voted, but today I start a new challenge—the battle for Tirana on the open list!
In the Democratic Party, nothing has been forgiven me. I have won every battle with work and dedication, and the same will happen now! I will be in the new Parliament to represent not only the Democrats who voted for me, but also those who still do not see themselves represented. For a better economy, for the middle class, for Albanian families, for European integration and for the fight against corruption!
Battles do not scare me! I was not scared by the investigative commission, nor by the owners of the incinerators who are today on the run or in prison. I was not scared by the battle for the liberal professions and the rights of citizens. Therefore, this challenge will not scare me either!
For me, there has been and will be no greater privilege than to be the voice of the Democrats and to continue to represent you with dignity and determination," writes MP Tabaku./ CNA
