Sula reacts after joining the "Shqipëria Bëhet" coalition

MP Dashnor Sula has reacted on social media after his transition from the Democratic Party to the "Albania Initiative" coalition. Sula also revealed that he has received invitations from other parties.

The MP says that leaving the DP was not his choice.

Dear friends,

I am happy to announce that I will represent the Democrats of Elbasan in the next Parliament under the coalition slogan "Nisma Shqipëria Bëhet".

I am very grateful to Adriatik Lapaj, Endri Shabani and Pano Soko, these young and unsung guys, who invited me to run in the May 11 elections. I also thank and express my gratitude to the leaders of other political forces that I am not mentioning for ethical reasons, who invited me to join their team after the medal they gave me as a "SPAKIST". I think that Albania is and will be made only with young guys. 

Starting today, I will start meeting with my supporters, who, even on a very difficult day like yesterday, stood by me and supported me.

I apologize to all those I have not been able to respond to, and I thank you sincerely for your words.

Believe me, it was not my choice to leave the Democratic Party. I gave that party 20 years of my political life, without asking for any office while it was in power.

I have sacrificed my time, I have taken revenge on my family and my children, to work every day for the DP, but I could not allow my contribution to be thrown in the trash just because I expressed my unwavering support for the institutions of justice reform. I am saying now, I will be a SPAK member in the next Parliament because I believe that it is doing the country a service that this political class has not managed to do in 35 years.
