The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, during a conversation with the Democrats in Kurbin, said that many areas in the south are completely depopulated. According to Berisha, this has come from the removal of all services to them.  

"The South is almost non-existent in terms of demographics. In the sense that it is as far as the coast is concerned, but other areas are completely depopulated. By removing any services to them, it is natural that people cannot stay where they are ," Berisha said.

Further, the leading democrat said that the Territorial Reform and the removal of Prime Minister Edi Rama from government are necessary.
