Bylykbashi: The majority tried to block SPAK to protect Balluk

Democratic Party MP Oerd Bylykbashi, in a media conference, commented on the previous day's meeting of the Mandates Council, describing it as an "autopsy" of the way the Albanian state functions.

According to Bylykbashi, this issue clearly shows the degradation of institutions under the leadership of Prime Minister Edi Rama, describing the state as gripped by corruption and crime. “This is the autopsy of how this rotten state functions,” he said.

He directly accused the majority of acting on political orders to obstruct justice. Bylykbashi stated that five socialist deputies, under the leadership of the head of the SP parliamentary group, aimed to block SPAK.

According to him, this action was intended to give Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku time to intimidate witnesses and destroy evidence. “It was a clear action to protect power and not the law,” Bylykbashi said.

"This issue, in all its dimensions, is an autopsy on how the state functions. A state led by Rama, in addition to crime, also has corruption. It is an autopsy on how this rotten state functions."

"With a clear order from the 5 socialist MPs, led by the leader of the SP group, they intended to block SPAK to give Balluk time to intimidate witnesses and destroy evidence," Bylykbashi said./ CNA
