Democratic Party Chairman Sali Berisha, in a virtual conversation with followers, answered their questions regarding Lulzim Basha.

Berisha has stated that he did not choose Lulzim Basha, as he emphasizes that he has never thought and cannot think of preparing the next leader.

He added that Lulzim Basha did everything against him, but he never told himself that he was wrong with him, because he didn't choose him.

"What I am on this mission is the removal of this regime. But to Albanians and every person, I say that I have never thought and cannot think of preparing the next leader."

It is not my duty. No, it is the citizens'. Sali Berisha has a duty to serve them with honesty, determination, and transparency, until they trust him.

As for the successor, the leader, many think that the one who was, was my choice, I guarantee you that it was not, it was his choice in the race that opened for the party.

But I don't take on what I can never do. I would like to do it. Of course, everyone would like to do it, but I have a conscience. Others may think they do it, but I don't, I don't think I do it.

So I limit myself from taking such an action. I am confessing a secret of mine. Lulzim Basha did everything against me, I have said everything about him, but I have never told myself that I was wrong with him, because I did not choose him.
