The candidate of the "Together We Win" coalition for Tirana, Belind Kelliçi, has again explained his project for free transportation in the capital.

Kelliçi calculated in the "Opinion" show how much free urban transport is in total.

If we take into account the highest number of tickets and subscriptions that have been sold in one year, he said that the cost is 16.79 million euros per year.

" The year before the pandemic was the highest number of passengers in public transport in Tirana. The total number is 28, 666, 000 tickets. The number of subscribers is 490,546. Combined in one cost, both amount to 16.79 million euros per year. We will allocate a fund of 5 million Euros per year to modernize the bus fleet in order to have hybrid buses in the future to reduce maintenance costs, to reduce fuel, and to modernize bus stations where today you don't have any distinguishing mark.
