Alibeaj, campaign against Berisha/ It is justified for the division of the PD

The commanding chairman of the PD, Enkelejd Alibeaj, seems to have focused his campaign on the former prime minister Sali Berisha.

While holding an electoral meeting in Kavaja, Alibeaj during his speech attacked Berisha, saying that because of his personal problem, PD is in the state it is in today.

He said that Berisha has made the Democrats co-sufferers of his personal plight.

A large part stayed here. Another part fled and are not here. Why? Just for a person's behavior. The one whom all of us democrats have considered a historical leader, we made him president and 2 times prime minister, because of a personal problem. Not caused by us, not caused by the Democrats. For a direct connection with the historical ally, of the Albanians, yes, but above all the Democratic Party, the United States of America.

" For a year and a half without cause, not because of our fault, not because of a public interest, the Democratic Party, you have all been involved in an aggression. In aggression we have happened, attack, lynching, verbal and physical, financial and legal. And all this is done for a reason, for a personal plight of an individual. Of an individual, who in no way, even in human terms, should have passed his personal trouble to the contributors, to the Democratic Party.

Who have only given. In fact, the grassroots, the Democrats, have only given and received very little. I'm including myself here actually. All those over the years who have been high representatives of the Democratic Party have received from the contribution, from the sweat, from the sacrifice of the democrats, people like you. Further, Alibeaj justified himself that in order not to divide the PD, they decided to extend their hand with offers for local elections.
