The candidate of the "Together We Win" coalition, Luciano Boçi, signed today a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation engaging a European financial company to raise funds to finance a number of development projects. These financings, according to Boç, will create 2,500-3,000 new jobs in Elbasan.

"Actually, employment is not the first task of a municipality. Nor economic growth. But under the given conditions, we cannot have a better therapy for Elbasan" - underlined candidate Luciano Boçi.

Citing European experiences, the representative of the united opposition said that a proactive municipality is the best way to respond to Elbasan's number one priority, which is poverty.

According to this agreement that was signed today, the company F5 Finance Limited will raise 180.5 (one hundred and eighty five) million euros for the realization of a block of projects such as: Technopolis - technology park near the University, City of Film, Reception and Treatment Center of the Elderly, the Agro-food Products Certification Laboratory and the Trade Park of Elbasan - which includes the Regional Fair, the Living Museum of Crafts and the International Outlet.

These are 7 of the 9 projects that Luciano Boçi has offered to implement in Elbasan within his next mandate.

The other two projects include a solar energy park on the roofs of houses in the city and in administrative units, for which the municipality will sign an agreement within these days with a partner of the well-known European company EDISON. The next project is a large game park at the entrance of the film city, as an added attraction for the wide range of tourism in this region.

"Elbasan is a very important economic opportunity and a precious potential that deserves support!, - said Mr. Michele Cariola, experienced banker and head of F5 Finance Ltd.

He explained the financing model as "Project Funding" that will be implemented in Elbasan. He further clarified that this signature is not electoral, but a sincere professional and financial commitment for the fate of a city with many values.

Cariola, who is also FederItaly's representative for Albania, announced that Elbasan will enjoy the support of his organization - which protects and promotes the brand "Made in Italy" - for the construction of the protected and controlled regional brand "Made in Elbasan ".

Boçi brought back to Elbasan the president of FederItaly, Carlo Verdone, who has publicly supported the proposal to create the "Made in Elbasan" brand.
