Mayor Erion Veliaj has followed the electoral meetings. Earlier, he was in unit number 7 in Tirana, where he said that the investments in the area have caused the value of the property to increase by at least double, compared to a few years ago.

"Today, if you see how with the development of the former Aviation Field and the opening of Astir after three years of closure, all of a sudden the whole other neighborhood is being contoured and the city is growing at the same speed, it means that not only can we move forward, but we can also keep pace with the development of other parts of the city. The fact that the other half, which was considered a pocket between Lana and the Aviation Field, is today the largest development and urbanization site, speaks for itself and I look forward to continuing this work and moving forward," said Veliaj.

Veliaj called on the residents and their family members to put families before political parties.

 "The most important political family is your family. If you are interested in daycare, kindergarten, school, you will sign a contract with those who made your kindergarten, daycare and school. If someone says let's go to war with America, I don't believe there is anyone here who will go to war with America. When I think about what the price of the property at the former Aviation Field was in 2015 and how in some cases it has doubled or tripled, it means that this planting of trees, this cleaning, this environment here with the sports fields, give it value. When both the road and the educational infrastructure are built, in that area that was considered a pocket, today it really adds value to the property," stated Veliaj./ CNA.al
