The lawyer of the former prime minister Sali Berisha, Genc Gjokutaj, has spoken again about the confrontation of the head of the DP with the justice for the "Partizani" file.

From the protest on "Mustafa Matohiti" street, Gjokutaj said that SPAK and GJKKO act politically, by order of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

According to him, the aim is to remove Berisha's mandate as a deputy of the Albanian Parliament.

"It took Mr. Berisha's arrest for us to understand that we are in a dictatorship. It took Mr. Berisha's arrest for us to understand that we are in danger. It took Mr. Berisha's arrest for us to realize that we no longer have property. It took the arrest of Mr. Berisha for us to understand the moral and material corruption of the gang in power and their servants in justice.

Today I come from the darkest corner that is today in Albania, which is justice. Today we were in court and any of you who were there would have shed tears. In two and a half months, as many violations have been committed as have not been committed in 30 years.

We have made a request for Mr. Berisha to go to Parliament. This is a request that the law requires, that obliges the court to do it. They postponed it today and there was no notification, Mr. Berisha. You understand what kind of court this is. All this is not done by the lawsuit. This is a scenario of SPAK with GJKKO with the political goal, implemented by a judicial instrument, which is the burning of the mandate of deputy Berisha by violating him in court sessions", underlined the lawyer./ CNA
