The member of the Presidency of the DP, Belind Këlliçi, has published a table with measurements of air pollution in Tirana.

In a status on social networks, Kelliçi says that these measurements were carried out by Prof. Besnik Baraj, former deputy and central figure of the SP.

He states that Tirana and Erion Veliaj can be called the European Capital of Pollution, as he emphasizes that in no case are the air particles smaller than the World Health Organization norm.

Prof. Besnik Baraj, former Member of Parliament and central figure of the SP, has carried out several pollution measurements in the capital. From them it follows that:

In cafes along the main streets of Tirana, the presence of particles is 33.6-92.6 micrograms/m³, from 5 micrograms/m³, which is the rate recommended by the WHO.

In shopping centers and parking lots it is 352 micrograms/m³. Many times higher!

In 15 stations of Tirana, from 3 to 5 in the morning, the values ??are 31.7–78 micrograms/m³.

So in no case less than the WHO norm.

These particles cause serious diseases such as cerebral hemorrhages, cancer, heart attacks, etc.
