The member of the National Council of DP, Silvi Bardhi, reacted after the dismissal of the President of the Order of Psychologists, Valbona Treska.

Bardhi congratulates the Order of the Psychologist for this decision with a majority of votes, while raising accusations against Treska.

She stated that the dismissed President had a lack of transparency in decision-making, delayed responses and publication of decisions, costly training for psychologists, up to 1,400 euros, as well as conflict of interest.

According to her, Treska stopped serving the Prime Minister Edi Rama and the Mayor Erjon Veliaj, standing by the side in the campaign of May 14, against the opposition candidate for Tirana, Belind Kelliçi.

In an act of professional honesty and civic courage, the Order of Psychologists, with the vote of 204 members, dismissed the President of the Order of Psychologists, Valbona Treska.

She was found guilty of serious corruption.

In the 20 points of argumentation of the Assembly, Treska had a lack of transparency in decision-making, late responses and publication of decisions, costly training for psychologists, up to 1 thousand 400 euros, as well as conflict of interest. Mismanagement of the Ethics Commission. Errors of form and content in the documentation and non-responsibility for them. Lack of communication ethics by the administration and leaders of the Order of Psychologists.

The lady in question fell under the votes of her colleagues who did not forgive her violations and corruption. If it had been for the judicial system, it would have continued long and undisturbed by selling licenses.

Treska thus also stopped political service to Edi Rama and Erjon Veliaj, whom he supported in the campaign of May 14, against the opposition candidate for Tirana, Belind Kelliçi.

She could not bear the finger that the opposition candidate pointed against corruption, but she received it two days ago from her colleagues. 

The Democratic Party welcomes the decision of the Order of Psychologists and encourages all professional bodies in the country to put first the principle of honesty of the profession and service to the public.
