Businessman Artur Shehu breaks his silence: I am a long-time land owner in Zvërnec, I don't know the investors at all

Former MP Edmond Spaho reacted today regarding Saturday's riots in Zvërnec.
As Spaho expressed in a post on social media, to hinder investments as in the case of the project in Sazan or Zvërnec, Albanian environmental "haxhiqamilists" and the so-called sellable Albanian civil society are being used.
Spaho emphasizes that these groups are not standing up for the garbage that is 'choking' Tirana nor for the destruction of the coast, but are used as experimental tools by political parties.
"Behind the battle for "property" or "environmental protection" lies the real battle over whether Albania should develop elite tourism or whether it should be the domain of its neighbors."
To prevent investments such as those in Sazan or Zvernec, Albanian environmental activists and the so-called Albanian civil society are used.
These social palacios are not built because of the garbage that is choking Tirana and their homes, but because they are concerned about the environment in Zvernec. These palacios are not built because of the destruction of the southern coast with massive construction, but they are built as soon as an investment begins, which in essence and in its interest has environmental protection, otherwise the project fails from the beginning.
These paid palaces were not built for the luxury and mass tourism that arose and continues to arise in Golem, but they are ready to burn Tirana so that no investment in elite tourism is realized.
These Haxhiqamilists do not stand up when their basic rights are being trampled upon, when political parties use them as experimental tools, but they are ready to stand up for the alleged "destruction" of nature in Zvernec.
Their desire is that there will never be any large and serious investments in this country, investments that would put Albania on the map of high-end tourism while reducing valuable income for its neighbors.
But what is the meaning of our wild rivers, virgin seashores, the island of Sazan, Karaburuni, Zvernec, Porto Palermo if they are not developed in a sustainable way?
We had these virgin riches during the time of Enver and we know how we ended up, among the poorest in Europe but with nature intact.
This is nothing less and nothing more than being fat but with your head held high.
Update:
I'm watching the protest in Tirana over the Zvernec issue. Participation is much more organized and higher than the opposition protests. Albanians who never protest are protesting.
It reminds me of the chemical weapons protests where teachers would order high school students in Tirana to protest.
Are they starting the same games? Protesters could even go to the American Embassy to protest like they did for chemical weapons. Where will the smoke come from?
