Veliaj surrenders, announces Sara Goxhaj's departure

Media paid by the incinerators today broke the news that Erion Veliaj would not sign the return of Anuela Ristani as delegated mayor of Tirana Municipality.

After being threatened with dismissal by the prime minister, he directly signed a withdrawal from his first decision.

 

In a reaction, Veliaj claims that he made a delegation "by mistake".

 

"I was informed that a fish has burst in the media swamps about my clash with Rama, about delegation work.
First of all, I only long to meet with Rama to talk about work as always and nothing else comes to mind.
Second, I signed a redelegation with the mistaken idea that it was agreed upon within the leadership team, but this is what happens when you "work" without sufficient information.
Lastly, search and dig wherever you want now, because this has become a sport thanks to my beloved prosecutor, but in my relationship with Rama, you are completely wasting your time, because it was molded in the old days and no time can change it, no matter how cursed it may be. The delegation has returned to where it was and this is where the misunderstanding ends," writes Veliaj/ CNA
