Yesterday, a document dated March 18, 2025, signed by Erion Veliaj, who is in a Durrës prison cell, circulated in the media, ordering the temporary appointment of Sara Goxhaj to the position of mayor.

This move by Veliaj was immediately corrected by Prime Minister Edi Rama, who at midnight, after being informed of Veliaj's act, went to the municipality and dismissed Sara Goxhaj, leaving the position once again to Anuela Ristani.

There have been strong discussions between Rama, Goxhaj and Dokushi, as reported by CNA, to the point that the country's prime minister expressed his position: "Leave, you have no business here anymore."

But who is Sara Goxhaj?

Sara Goxhaj is a former freshman who Erion Veliaj kept as an assistant when he ran FRESH.

She once went to the SP with a torn T-shirt and is now being delegated the position of mayor by the mayor.
