Leader of the Democratic Party Sali Berisha, invited to Çim Peka Live on Syri TV, was asked about the lists of candidates for MPs, for which he said he supports a system with completely open lists.

Berisha also explained why he included some of the DP's names in closed lists. The DP leader said that some were part of the quotas while he included others in closed lists because if they were on the open list, they would only be responsible for their votes.

While he called the candidates on the open lists the most powerful candidates of the DP.

" This system is very bad. Candidates have to do everything for their vote and the party remains in second place. I am ready to vote tomorrow for a proportional system with completely open lists."
