CNA reported a day ago that the Municipality of Tirana has paid the famous 5D of Veliaj directors 200 million lekë on March 12, 2025, a guarantee for the Rehabilitation of the Kinostudio Center. (Read Here)

DP leader Sali Berisha reacted to this denunciation by saying that Rama yesterday silenced the directors by sending them the money that has been confiscated.

Among other things, Berisha underlined that the 200 thousand euro payment represents a solidified fund, which companies are obliged to solidify as security work, while they complete the facility and take it back when the facility is completed.

The opposition leader further stated that 5D is a company with Edi Rama as its main patron, emphasizing that Erion Veliaj is also responsible and deeply involved in this file.

"This is a decision from yesterday, the biggest indictment against Edi Rama, it is the act that proves to every Albanian that the man behind '5D' is Edi Rama. Let's go back here together when the issue came up. Information from personnel dealing with the most luxurious hotel being built in Durrës came that the main shareholder in this hotel is Olsi Rama, so it is Edi Rama and I told you here and I denounced this fact 2-3 times.

Now what happens? Erion Veliaj was undoubtedly responsible and he was in '5D' and deeply involved. In fact, Mazniku was more so. You should know one fact. If between Veliaj and Rama there was a relationship between a servile, but also a treacherous rival, Edi Rama's direct man in the municipality was Mazniku.

Maznik has signed 3-4 times at '5D' as the contracting authority, and Erion has in 2-3 cases. Now what happened? Do you know what that 200 thousand euros is? It's very interesting. That 200 thousand euros is a payment that represents a solidified fund, which companies are obliged to solidify as security work, until they finish the building and get it back when the building is finished. It's about the reconstruction of the cinema studio.

But '5D' has not even completed half of the works, because it has been blocked and Edi Rama yesterday to silence the directors sent the money that has also been confiscated. So Edi Rama committed an extreme act. He returned the money to the incriminated company '5D', testifying, Erion Veliaj from prison, could not return the money, now the de facto mayor of the municipality is Rama. Now it turns out that '5D' is a company with Edi Rama as its main sponsor.
