Niko Peleshi's candidate on the DP list gives the first message

Andrea Mano, known for his friendship and old and new partnerships with the head of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group and their list in the Korça region, has come out with a reaction . This reaction comes after his placement as a candidate for deputy on the open lists in the Korça region.

Mano is a serial loser, from 2011 to 2025 he was nominated by Berisha's Democrats with the fear that he would come as a candidate in an allied party and could burn some votes. He is currently on the DP list, it is unlikely that he will have any chance of winning since in Korça the Democrats claim one seat from three names on the closed list. So out of 10 candidates, one of them must become an MP and the strength of Edmond Spaho or any other name is known, which Andrea Mano cannot break.

However, he is on the list that, if he wins, he will switch to Rama's socialists, in support of Niko Peleshi . Andrea Mano was also a member of the DP Parliamentary Group, after the loss of the mandate of MP Ervin Salianji, who was convicted by the court, and stayed in Parliament for several months. He is not remembered for anything, but has now been reactivated and has begun to serve his friend, the head of the SP Parliamentary Group, Niko Peleshi . Andrea Mano has conveyed a message that has been repeated often in these years, after he ran and lost.

He ran in 2005 for Genc Pollo's PDR, and lost. Then in 2007 he joined forces with Niko Pelesh. In 2011 he was a candidate for mayor in Korça and lost shamefully. In 2013 he was also one of the main campaign leaders, and lost shamefully again. In 2015, the chairman of the Korça PD again lost the local elections in Korça. In 2017, the local chairman of this branch, also a candidate for deputy, lost again. In 2019, another defeat in the Municipality of Korça. He runs again in 2021, and loses again both as chairman of the branch and as a member of the list in the Korça region.

Then, if he is to be called engaged in the 2023 local elections, these are more someone else's loss than his personally, despite the fact that his intrigues and partnership and friendship with Sotiraq Filo and Niko Pelesh influenced the poor result obtained by the Korça branch of the DP.

Honorable citizens of Korça, dear friends and democrats and fellow citizens!
I stand before you with great honor and responsibility to announce my candidacy as a deputy in the Parliament of Albania, in the elections of May 11, 2025 under the banner of the Democratic Party. This is not simply a political decision, but a deep moral and civic commitment to be your voice in the Assembly, to protect your interests and to bring about the change you deserve.
On this journey, I want to express
my deepest gratitude to all those who have supported me over the years, to the democrats who with sacrifice and dedication have always stood by our values, to the citizens who have believed and voted for a fairer and more developed Albania.
Korça is the cradle of Albanian culture, citizenship and tradition. It is a city that has always given its best to our nation, but which today faces great challenges: unemployment, lack of investment, massive youth exodus and government negligence. This cannot continue!
I am running because I feel it as a moral obligation and I believe that Korça needs a worthy representative, a strong voice that will fight for economic development, for quality education, for support for farmers and entrepreneurs, for dignified healthcare and above all, to restore the belief that politics can be at the service of citizens and not a small group of interests.
The Democratic Party has been and remains the political force that believes in freedom, democracy and development. We have a clear vision to build a just state, where the law is applied equally to all and where every citizen feels supported and valued.
I invite you to join us for a better future! Together we can turn Korça into a prosperous city, where young people have the opportunity to build their lives, where businesses are supported, where farmers have better conditions and where every citizen feels proud to live here.
This is not a personal battle, it is the battle of all of us, for our families, for our children and for the future of our country.
