May 11th Elections/ CEC approves ballot paper model

The CEC approves the ballot paper model for the May 11 parliamentary elections. The vote took place at today's CEC meeting.

With the changes to this electoral system, the ballot paper will be different from before.

In particular, in the Tirana District, the ballot paper will have 539 names, for 11 electoral subjects. The dimensions of the ballot paper will be 58.3 cm by 29.7 cm in all districts. 

State Commissioner Ilirjan Celibashi said that the ratio of proportions on this ballot is quite good.

"The ballot paper is the same in terms of size for all districts. In Tirana there is a greater density of names, but they are all readable, if they were in a larger font it would be better. But by establishing the rationality of the size of the ballot paper with the possibility of reading the candidates, the ratio stands well in this ballot paper that we have prepared", - said Celibashi.

The order of subjects on the ballot is as follows:

Coalition Democratic Party - Alliance for a Greater Albania – Number 1 
Together Movement Party
– Number 2 Homeland Movement - Number 3
Euro-Atlantic Coalition – Number 4
Socialist Party – Number 5
Coalition Initiative Albania Becomes – Number 6
Albanian National Alliance – Number 7
New Democracy Alliance – Number 8
Coalition Right for Development – ??Number 9
Opportunity Party - Number 10
Social Democratic Party – Number 11
