Serbia's reaction to the Kosovo-Albania-Croatia agreement/ Vengu: It has

Minister of Defense, Pirro Vengu, spoke in a television appearance about the Kosovo-Albania-Croatia agreement in the field of security. Vengu said that it is not an alliance against anyone else in the region, but is made to increase defense levels.

Regarding Serbia's reaction to this agreement, Minister Vengu said that Serbia has lost the chance to consult since it does not participate in the meetings. The Minister stated that if Serbia is to be consulted, it must sit at the dialogue table.

"It's not an agreement that envisions an aggressive approach towards anyone else in the region. We don't see ourselves as an alliance against anyone, but it's about increasing defense levels."

"Serbia has lost the chance to be consulted since it implements the policy of the empty chair in regional meetings. There is no need to consult when a joint agreement is made. Kosovo is recognized by Croatia. If Serbia wants to be consulted, it should come and sit at the table ," the minister said.

 

The Minister of Defense also spoke about the violation of Kosovo's security and said that allied structures have identified cases where there have been attempts to destabilize security at the border.

Vengu stated that the Kosovo government must coordinate actions with KFOR, especially in border areas.

" The assessment of the allied structures is that attempts have been made in the border area to undermine order and stability. The threats may also be of a hybrid nature. We have requested that the Kosovo government coordinate actions with KFOR, especially in the border areas, for any activity that occurs ," Vengu said./ CNA
