Journalist Klodian Tomorri has conducted an analysis of the latest movements that show the war that has erupted between Prime Minister Edi Rama and Mayor Erion Veliaj.

The latter has appointed his loyalist Sara Goxhaj to temporarily exercise the duties of mayor, a duty that was assigned to Anuela Ristani by Rama after the mayor's arrest.

After this, Rama ordered the dismissal of Goxhaj to reinstate Anuela Ristan.

Journalist Klodian Tomorri emphasizes that this is a war. According to the journalist, it took Veliaj a month in prison to figure out who was the mastermind of the conspiracy.

"Campaigns and conspiracies. Edi Rama appointed Ristan as his deputy to lead the municipality of Tirana. Today Veliaj has dismissed Rama's deputy from prison and appointed his own. This means war.

Apparently it took Lali a month in prison to realize that Ulsiu was not the head of the "conspiracy". But someone else had figured it out earlier. Someone with a lot of experience in these things, and who knows very well how palace intrigues work", writes Tomori.

On the other hand, Tomorri also analyzes the softened tones of DP leader Sali Berisha towards Veliaj, calling this a silent alliance between the Berisha-Veliaj duo.

Berisha has long seemed to have come to Veliaj's defense, saying that it was Rama and Ulsi Manja who trapped him regarding the wiretapping conducted by SPAK.

"Sali Berisha has been softening his tone towards Erion Veliaj for some time. Two or three days ago, he even said that it's not our job to make Maks Haxhine here, but that these people are trapping Veliaj with the heavy-handed methods of state security."

But can the silent alliance between Sali Berisha and Veliaj work? It is still too early to say.

But ironically, Erion Veliaj's only potential ally at the top of politics today is Sali Berisha. Who would have thought?

Now Veliaj must be clear about many things. Not least of all that the ghost named Nesti Angoni could not set in motion a gear as heavy as that of justice, without the knowledge of the Supreme Commander.

Secondly, someone used his blow, or more precisely the fatal mistake of entering into a fight with prosecutors and judges, complicating things even more. And of course this someone was not in the opposition.

"Alliances in politics are fluid. But the most interesting are always the silent ones, between enemies who once wanted to execute each other," Tomorri declares./ CNA
