Veliaj versus Rama/ Two paths for the Prime Minister

Economics expert Brisidia Shehaj has commented on the appointment made by Erion Veliaj, placing Sara Goxhaj, his confidant, at the head of the Municipality of Tirana to temporarily exercise the duty, a decision that was not well received by Rama, who immediately dismissed the mayor's loyalist.

According to Shehaj, this action by Veliaj has caught Rama off guard, who now has two options: accept the mayor's letter, or dismiss him and accept SPAK's accusations.

"Today, the media made public a letter from Erion Veliaj, in which he announced the appointment of the new Deputy Mayor of Tirana Municipality.

Whether we like it or not, Veliaj is the Mayor of Tirana since there is no court decision that has suspended him from exercising his function.

So this document IS LEGAL.

The good news in this letter is that Veliaj has decided to stand up to Edi Rama and not become a soldier like the others who say LONG LIVE THE PARTY even in prison.

Now Edvini has only 2 options:

1- To accept the letter and the fact that the Municipality of Tirana is not his.

2- To dismiss Erion Veliaj (because only the CM has the legal authority to do so) and to admit that SPAK's accusations are correct.
