Prime Minister Edi Rama was seen at midnight yesterday at the Tirana Municipality. His visit to the institution was a surprise, after he learned that Erion Veliaj from Durrës prison had signed the document with Protocol number 11273, and had appointed citizen Sara Goxhaj to exercise the duty of mayor of Tirana.

In fact, Edi Rama himself had appointed Anuela Ristan as acting mayor of Tirana a few weeks ago.

But Erion Veliaj did not accept it. He reacted by declaring his loyalty with a letter sent through Alban Dokushi, the latter also one of Erion Veliaj's loyal soldiers.
