"War" in the municipality / Rama appoints Jonida Halili, Veliaj bans her from entering the institution

The fight is getting even fiercer between Prime Minister Edi Rama and Mayor Erion Veliaj.

According to media reports, Prime Minister Edi Rama, after dismissing Legal Director Alban Dokushi, has appointed Jonida Halili to this position, who previously held the position of Deputy Mayor.

On the other hand, it is reported that Mayor Veliaj from Durrës prison has ordered the Municipal Police in Tirana, which guards the municipal institution, not to allow Halil to enter the municipality.

Rama's act comes after Veliaj's move, who has appointed Sara Goxhaj to head the municipality to exercise the duties of mayor.
