"The owl had left us a black name"/ Rama: Small parties are the seeds

Prime Minister Edi Rama held the closing election meeting in the city of Saranda today. In his speech, Rama continued his statements towards the opposition.

Rama said that Berisha's government had left a bad name for Albania in Europe, referring to high-level meetings and talks on the country's integration.

Rama stated that what should not happen is that the opposition is voted out.

"With the bad reputation that the owl had left us in Europe, no one took us seriously. That's how Albania was. No one counted it for what it counts for today. Today Albania is different.

What should not happen is that the door is not closed. Therefore, we must strictly adhere to the deadline they have given us. If the interests waver, they will be even harsher with us.

When the entire agreement is signed, they will be forced to take it to their parliaments and the dream will become a reality, thanks to the vote of the majority of Albanians.

"We are not worried that the swamp will come and turn the sea into a swamp," Rama said.

During his speech, Rama also focused on the small parties participating in the May 11 elections. Rama stated that these parties are only for small interests.

"Those small parties are the second cycle of the seed of the late LSI and you remember well what we have lost by trying everything and my conclusion is that the smaller a party, the smaller their interests. Small parties are for small interests. A big party like the SP is for the national interest", said Rama. /CNA
