"I want to be the voice of the citizens of Korça"/ Dhimitri

Dhimitri Tona, a boy from Korça who comes from a family with entrepreneurial traditions, has been involved in politics for the first time as a candidate for deputy in the Korça district under the banner of the Social Democratic Party.

In an interview with CNA, he reveals that after completing his studies at one of the best universities in Tirana, he has been engaged in various fields of business, becoming closely acquainted with the problems that both entrepreneurs and citizens encounter in their daily lives.

"Dhimitri Tona is a boy from Korçë, a popular, simple boy. I come from a family with entrepreneurial traditions. I finished my studies in Tirana, at one of the best universities in Albania, and then I was engaged in various fields of business. Considering that I have dealt with businesses and various fields, I have also noticed the problems of business in Albania, even the problems of the people and the people in the country ," said Tona.

 

Tona says that politics was not his goal, but the challenges and growing problems of citizens have pushed him to return to his hometown to make his contribution. He says that he chose the Social Democratic Party because of the trust he has created in Mayor Tom Doshi and the continuous help that the latter has given to the people without asking for anything in return.

" To be honest, I have never wanted or thought about getting involved in politics in any way, but the daily problems and seeing how more and more people are having more and more problems, they do not have a voice or a person to rely on, have pushed me to return to Korça and give my contribution to this city that formed me. I chose the Social Democratic Party because I have seen and heard many good things about our president Tom Doshi, who has helped many people by being by their side without asking for anything in return ," said the PSD candidate.

 

Speaking about his inclusion in the list of candidates, Tona expresses appreciation for the group he is competing with. According to him, these are young people who are untainted in politics, with a desire to be as close as possible to citizens and to represent their concerns in a dignified manner. He emphasizes that this is also the reason why Tom Doshi has decided to give them the opportunity to be part of the race.

“Unë ndihem shumë i vlerësuar që jam pjesë e kësaj liste. Ne jemi një grup shumë i mirë, jemi të gjithë të rinj, të papërlyer në politikë dhe në një farë mënyre jemi të gjithë me një qëllim të caktuar, që të jemi sa më pranë popullit, sa më pranë njerëzve në nevojë dhe të jemi një zë për ta. Kjo është një nga arsyet që dhe kryetari ynë Tom Doshi vendosi të na përfshijë në këto zgjedhje. Mendoj që jemi në rrugën e duhur për t’ia dalë”, tha Dhimitri Tona.

 

Kandidati i Partisë Socialdemokrate thekson se çdo ditë po vërehet një rritje e mbështetjes nga qytetarët, të cilët shohin te kjo forcë politike një qasje ndryshe dhe më afër nevojave të tyre. Sipas tij, kjo dëshmon për një besim në rritje dhe një shpresë të re për të ardhmen e rajonit.

“Ka pasur një angazhim shumë të madh dhe mund të themi se ka një shumicë njerëzish që sa vjen e shtohen çdo ditë dhe shohin një qasje ndryshe tek ne në politikë. Duke qenë se jemi një zë i ri për qarkun e Korçës, shohin një pozitivitet dhe një shpresë më shumë për të ardhmen”, u shpreh Tona.

 

Në lidhje me programin e partisë, Tona deklaron se fokusi është te çështje jetike si pensionet, shëndetësia, fermerët, pagat minimale dhe ndihma ekonomike. Ai thekson se qëllimi nuk është që të shfaqen vetëm në kohë zgjedhjesh, por të jenë vazhdimisht një mbështetje reale për qytetarët.

“Ne kemi një program i cili, po e them përgjithësisht, ka të bëjë me pensionet, me shëndetësinë, me fermerët, me pagat minimale dhe për asistencat e këto problematika të përditshme që janë të përhapura në vendin tonë. Ne duam që të gjithë si grup të mblidhemi dhe të jemi ky zë i fortë që të përfaqësojmë të gjithë njerëzit, jo thjesht të dalim një herë në katër vjet për të mbledhur këto vota e mos të dukemi më, por për të qenë gjithmonë një shtyllë mbështetëse për njerëzit tanë”, deklaroi kandidati i PSD.

 

Një nga shqetësimet më të mëdha që ai evidenton në Qarkun e Korçës është emigrimi masiv i të rinjve. Për këtë arsye, ai thekson se nevojitet një angazhim real për krijimin e vendeve të reja të punës dhe rritjen e vlerësimit për të rinjtë në mënyrë që ata të shohin një të ardhme brenda vendit.

“Një nga problematikat kryesore të paktën në qarkun e Korçës është që të rinjtë po ikin në shifra të konsiderueshme. Ne duam ta bëjmë që të hapen edhe vende të reja pune dhe njerëzit të ndihen sado pak të vlerësuar e të kenë mundësi për të parë një të ardhme në këtë vend e të mos ikin jashtë”, u shpreh Tona.

 

Në fund të intervistës, Dhimitri Tona bën thirrje për mbështetje nga qytetarët, të rinjtë dhe fermerët e të gjithë qarkut. Ai i fton të besojnë te Partia Socialdemokrate si një alternativë e re që synon të jetë zë i fortë dhe mbështetje për ta në Kuvend.

 

" First of all, I call on the young people and all citizens or farmers in the entire Korça region to give us support this time as a new party that we are in Korça, to see even a little hope in us, to be a pillar of support for them in parliament and I want to assure them that we will be a strong voice for them ," said the PSD candidate.

 

With a new, sincere and citizen-friendly approach, Dhimitri Tona aims to bring a different voice for Korça to politics. His candidacy in the ranks of the Social Democratic Party comes as a result of a personal commitment to providing solutions to the daily problems of citizens and to stopping the massive exodus of young people from the country.

With the belief that politics should be close to the people and not above them, Tona seeks the support of citizens to be a worthy representative of them in the Albanian Parliament./ CNA
