Berisha congratulates Albin Kurti: Dignified campaign, inspiring success for

Leader of the Democratic Party Sali Berisha has shared a message regarding the elections held in Kosovo, which he describes as an inspiring success for Albania.

Through a post on social media, Berisha congratulated the acting Prime Minister and leader of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Albin Kurti, on his victory.

Among other things, Berisha expressed his appreciation for the dignified stances of political parties during the campaign and their respect for the citizens' decision.

"The Parliamentary Elections of December 28, 2025 in Kosovo, an inspiring success for Albania.

Dear friends, yesterday Kosovo held early parliamentary elections, the second in a 10-month period. These elections for the campaign, the voting procedure, the free competition, the administration of the vote were a true success of the new democracy of Kosovo and all its citizens and I hope an inspiration for Albanians in Albania, where the fierce enemy of the free vote of Albanian citizens, Ramaduro of Europe, has transformed the vital process of free elections into an ugly electoral farce.

On this occasion, I would like to warmly congratulate the free citizens of Kosovo, the country's authorities and the institutions administering the electoral process, and the political forces for the true achievement of democratic order in their country.

I congratulate the winner of the elections, Mr. Albin Kurti, for the resounding victory of these elections, but also all other political forces for their participation and dignified stances during the campaign and respect for the sovereign's decision.
