The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, present at the presentation of the head of the "Brain Gain" department, stated that there are several problems in the party.

Berisha said that a fundamental problem that needs to be answered as soon as possible is the fact that the DP does not have a universal character, as it should have.

The leader of the DP declared that the party does not only belong to those who live in Albania, but also to the diaspora.

Further, in his speech, Berisha said that it is important that these shortcomings listed by him receive a statutory response.

The chief democrat stated that solutions in the party should not be a matter of the will of the chairman or the party leadership, but should be statutory guarantees.

 

 

" The DP has a fundamental problem that it must answer as soon as possible. The procedures defined by this party lack the universal character that the party should have. In the sense that this is not a party of those who live only in Tirana, Tropoja and Gjirokastër, but also of those who live in the diaspora. It is not a party of its branches in Albania, but it is also a party of its branches in the diaspora. In this context, it is necessary that these shortcomings receive a statutory response. Solutions should not be a matter of the will of the party's chairman or leadership. Solutions should be statutory guarantees. We correct the injustice that has been done to the diaspora and this injustice should be finalized with clear definitions in the party statute ," said Berisha.
