"Rama behaves like a dictator"/ Berisha in Korça: DP, the most

Leader of the Democratic Party Sali Berisha, from this Saturday's 'Foltorja' in Korça, accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of having concentrated all power in his own hands like a dictator.

In his speech, Berisha stated that a narco-state where crime and drugs make the law poses a danger not only for Albanians, but also for Europe.

"It is a special honor to come to you, first of all, to honor together the work of those courageous people of Korça who 35 years ago rose up against the most Stalinist dictatorship of the time and founded here in Korça the first opposition party, the party of the interest of the citizens of Korça, of the dignity of the citizens of Korça, of the national interest, of freedom, of the Western vocation of Korça and Albania.

My friends, we come to this 35th anniversary as the only party, without any other, in all the former communist countries, that is standing, we are alive, we are strong and confident of victory.

But we, in contrast, in contrast to any other political force in the political history of pluralistic Europe, are a force against which the most brutal acts were undertaken in the most unjust way, the most shameful attempts to destroy it, in the project Albania without opposition. The most criminal attempts to divide and fragment it in the projects Albania without opposition. The deepest isolation, the most pro-Western political force in the history of the nation.

Yet we triumphed. Not because we had superhuman strength. Not because we were stronger than those who sought to wipe us off the face of the earth. But because we defended eternal truths, of man, of civilization, of the nation, of the city, of the family, of the country.

We did not let go of those truths. We did not betray those truths. Those truths, with those truths we rose, absolutely like the Phoenix from the ashes, to the zenith.

Where are we? From the most isolated political force in history, to the most supported political force in history. The causes that we defended in isolation, in unimaginable efforts for them, to tear them apart, were sanctioned in seven resolutions by all the political forces as sisters of the planet.

The causes we defended were sanctioned in these resolutions. It was sanctioned that this country, that Edi Rama used the institutions to suppress pluralism, to arrest political opponents. These resolutions, of all international political forces, sanction that Edi Rama has concentrated all power in his own hands like a dictator.

These resolutions, in gratitude to us, sanction even before the last elections took place, that Albania will not have elections but an electoral farce.

These resolutions sanctioned that Albania is a narco-state where crime and drugs make the law.

"And finally, not only a danger for Albanians, but a danger for Europe. And finally, you now hear the alarm sirens sounding from Washington about the corruption of Edi Rama's government and its links to drugs and crime," Berisha said./CNA
