His daughter, Argita Malltezi, also responded to the accusations against Berisha that he threatened journalists, who said during an interview that journalists have the duty to take a stand against phenomena that do not typify or characterize their profession.

Malltez's reactions came after a statement by the former prime minister, Berisha, which was interpreted as a threat to those journalists who publish details from the SPAK file.

"Journalists have the duty to take a stand against phenomena that do not typify or characterize their profession. I did not know that journalists' associations have reacted without analyzing the situation. Not all of them are journalists, some others operate with files in SPAK and have other status," said Malltezi/ CNA
