Berisha "scans" Rama/ The prime minister's intention with increasing judges' salaries

Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha commented this evening on the government's draft law on increasing judges' salaries.

Berisha claimed that this bill is a way for Prime Minister Edi Rama to "buy" the Constitutional Court.

Berisha also made accusations against Enkelejd Alibeaj's wife, Marsida Xhaferllari, whom he said supports the government.

"A part of them (members of the Constitutional Court) have not been in the courtroom, it has a greater influence than it should have in that court and in all the decisions, she (Marsida Xhaferllari) is listed with Edi Rama in the most anti-constitutional way, think of the position for Olta Xhacka's mandate. There are some ladies there who have never sat in a courtroom. The decision was to buy the Constitutional Court", said Berisha./ CNA
