Bardhi, against Begaj for the appointment of Mete: Decree contrary to the

Deputy Gazment Bardhi has opposed the voting of Ervin Mete as Minister of Finance and Economy. In his speech at the plenary session, Bardhi said that the SP deputies voted for an unconstitutional decree of President Bajram Begaj.

Bardhi explained that Begaj decreed as minister a public official who could not be appointed because he was exercising another public function.

"In flagrant violation of Article 103, the president has decreed a public official as minister who could not be appointed because he was exercising another public function. Mete's dismissal took place in Monday's session, after the president had decreed him as a minister. It brought a decree in flagrant contradiction with the Constitution. "He issued a decree without formal verification by a member of the Council of Ministers," said Bardhi.
