Berisha: Salianji will continue to be the political leader of Elbasan

The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, during a conference with journalists, was asked about the electoral campaign of the parliamentary elections, after the imprisonment of Ervin Salianji, who was appointed political leader for Elbasan.

Berisha said that PD will not have another political leader for Elbasan, although Salianji is in the cell.

He emphasized that Salianji will continue to be a political leader, as he described him as an honorary delegate.

"The honorary delegate in the Elbasan district will be Ervin Salianji. I am convinced that this act and the courage of Ervin Salianji to protect the truths and the public interest of the citizens has the deepest gratitude of Elbasan" declared the head of the DP ./ CNA
