The deputy of the Democratic Party, Ervin Salianji, during a media conference, was asked by journalists if he contacted Lulzim Basha after the decision of the Court of Appeal.

Salianji did not answer this question directly, but avoided talking about Lulzim Basha.

He stated that after the decision to sentence him to one year in prison, he was supported by people who do not have the same views as him.

"I was also supported by those with whom I did not have the same views", said Salianji.
