The chairman of Pogradec DP, Genti Çela, denounced the pressure with fines on businesses in Pogradec.

He said that entrepreneurs are forced to install wastewater treatment plants, an unaffordable cost for them, but also considered unnecessary.

According to him, this was done through the Normative Act (no. 8 dated 28.12.2023), signed by Prime Minister Edi Rama.

For months, a fierce and barbaric pressure has been applied to the businesses in Pogradec, with methods of imposing fines, for the forced sale of the Wastewater treatment plants, which in Pogradec is completely unnecessary.

By means of the Normative Act (no. 8 dated 28.12.2023) signed by the prime minister, all businesses near the coastal and coastal areas are obliged to equip themselves with plants ranging from 10-100 thousand € and 5 thousand € every year for maintenance.

A lot that seriously risks the bankruptcy of thousands of businesses in the country.

It is worth remembering the fact that in 2008, former Prime Minister Sali Berisha inaugurated the waste water processing collector in Pogradec, with a capacity of up to 300 thousand inhabitants.

Capacity four times higher than the current number of inhabitants of the Pogradec District.

Thanks to that collector, the lake of Pogradec has been completely cleaned by becoming a member of UNESCO, an organization from which today, we are in danger of being excluded due to the stupidity of the multi-story constructions right next to the lake.

Some of which are owned by relatives of the former deputy of Pogradec, Fatmir Xhafaj.

The pressure on businesses is clearly PENALTIES! in the interest of companies close to the government.

The Democratic Party will report to the Prosecutor's Office anyone who fines the activities in Pogradec and anywhere else.

The Democratic Party will be close to citizens and businesses who face taxi drivers every day, who are often treated as fines, with monthly salaries from businesses./ CNA
