The relations between Albania and Greece continue to be in the center of attention in the Hellenic media, and this is because of the Beleri case. 

Recently, the Greek media 'Kathimerini' in an article entitled: "Greece – Albania: Long-term involvement with Beleri", states that 
Athens is waiting for Edi Rama's next move. 

"Athens is waiting for the next initiative of the government of Edi Rama to overcome the long-term involvement in Greek-Albanian relations, which has as its main cause the prolonged detention of the mayor of Himara, Fredi Beleri. Just before Christmas, Mr. Rama had announced in fact, the dismissal of the acting mayor, Jorgo Goro, who, however, is the loser of last May's elections.
