Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha in a media conference was asked by journalists about the request of the Special Prosecutor's Office for police surveillance of him, after the imposition of the "house arrest" measure. 

Berisha said that this is Rama's request and that the whole process is political.  

"This is Edi Rama's request, don't confuse things. This is a real political process. A request of Rama in his anti-legal, unconstitutional positions, dictated by the horror and fear that the opposition led by Sali Berisha would remove him as a rot from his power. There is no wonder in all this, This is an assembly controlled 100% by Rama. In fact, the opposite will happen. To see two battalions around the palace, I have no impression.
