Berisha cursed that the era brought by PD has come to an end.

"I come to you today for a conversation in which I must emphasize these key moments. It has long been repeated that PD is in a life and death battle, in a battle for its existence. A few days ago we celebrated the 33rd anniversary of the founding of the party. Now we must speak openly. This party, which overturned and divided eras and brought Albanians the brightest era in their entire history, has an extraordinary legacy. But if as people who will stick to the truths, we must admit that the era that brought PD has ended. It no longer exists in its principles of freedom except for the market, that era no longer exists in Albania," said Berisha.

According to him, a more powerful monism has been established in Albania than in 1990-1991.

"Today, a more powerful monism has been established in Albania, I tell you with full responsibility, than the one we overthrew in 1990-1991. Today, the political freedoms of the opposition people are absolutely de facto annihilated. Today, any form of state that waits for freedoms is an internal or external invasion. And I can tell you that in history there are few nations that have experienced more invasions than us. But none of these holidays have cleansed 35 percent of the Albanian nation in 9 years. Never and never. You are a mother, sister, daughter, grandmother, you are the main contributor to the era that has closed," he said.

The former prime minister says that there is no doubt for anyone who has political judgment that this is a gang dictatorship and all those who have studied dictatorships have described the gang dictatorship as the worst of dictatorships

"You can very rightly ask the question: yes, you say that the era brought by DP has ended. What is left for us democrats? We will always stick to the truth. For us democrats, only two things remain. It remains our legacy, I said again, we brought about the brightest era in the history of this nation. But, where we are today, we are facing a first or second decision of our lives. Before our eyes, democratic institutions disintegrated. Before our eyes, the rights of our citizens were trampled. Before our eyes, 22 thousand citizens were arrested for civil cases. Before our eyes, the gangs reasserted their rule, which we drove out with iron hands. Before our eyes, our children just left Albania. Albania was abandoned. All this happened before our eyes. Not that the power had left us. No. Not that we didn't have a passion for freedom. No. But in the most tragic way we were betrayed," he added.
