Balla in Athens: EU passport only possible with a vote for the Socialist Party

The Political Leader of the Socialist Party for the Diaspora, Taulant Balla, in a meeting with Socialist Party supporters in Athens, stated that the EU passport is only possible with a vote for the Socialist Party. Balla thanked them for their help in realizing this process.

“ A great job has been done! A significant number of Albanians have registered not only in Athens and Attica, but also in Thessaloniki, the Greek islands, Patras and the Peloponnese. Some may say there could have been more, but let's not forget that this is the first time. Do you remember when we first met in September? Many of you were skeptical whether the diaspora vote would be realized ,” said Balla.

Balla explained the voting method and the technical details of the voting process, which begins with the arrival of the ballot by mail in early April.

"You will receive an envelope, inside which is the ballot paper and a white envelope where you should place the paper after you have voted. In the middle you have the Socialist Party with the number five and a candidate according to your district. After closing it in the white envelope, it is placed in another envelope that guarantees the secrecy of the vote. The CEC has conceived the process in such a way that the secrecy of the vote is preserved - when they arrive in Albania, the envelopes are separated from those that hold the address and no one can identify the voter , " Balla explained.

The Socialist Party's Political Leader for the Diaspora said that an EU passport is only possible by voting for the Socialist Party.

" Edi Rama's fourth mandate will make life easier for you, our compatriots in Greece. Our passport will say 'EU Passport', and this means that you will not be treated differently from other citizens of the bloc. This is only possible with a vote for the Socialist Party on May 11 ," said Balla.

Finally, he also addressed the diaspora democrats, telling them to vote for the Socialist Party.

" Are you a democrat? Very good, but this time you should vote for Edi Rama! Your vote for "Luli's father", the "swamp owl" does not help you at all, while a vote for the SP is a vote for your future and that of your children as EU citizens ", Balla said./ CNA
