Alimehmeti: The Socialist Party has left the healthcare system in a deplorable state

Democratic Party candidate for MP, Ilir Alimehmeti, focused on healthcare in a television appearance. Alimehmeti said that the SP has brought healthcare to a deplorable state in these years of governance and Rama is only doing a facade.

Education and health are not given on concession, said Alimehmeti. Regarding health, Alimehmeti stated that 2-3% more of GDP is needed.

"P.S. has left the health sector in a deplorable state. Rama is only making a facade. The citizens suffer from the lack of doctors and medicines. We also have mismanagement and abuse. We need to increase the budget for health. Rama himself said that 5 percent of the GDP will be spent on health, but today it is not and the prime minister did not keep the promise he made himself. The money is there, health needs 2-3 percent more of the GDP. Education and health are not given as a concession ," said Alimehmeti./ CNA
