The candidate for the head of the DP, Lulzim Basha, has reacted to the accusations leveled against the former deputy prime minister, Arben Ahmetaj.

Basha declared in a meeting with the citizens that the affair of the incinerators proves that corruption threatens the well-being of Albanian families.

He stated that SPAK should not hesitate to bring to justice anyone who has abused the trust of Albanians with their money.

An Albania freed from the corruption that threatens the well-being of Albanian families, which is sitting cross-legged in government offices, as the Incinerator Affair proves, is the priority of every citizen of this country today.

Despite the attacks made, not only by Edi Rama and his corrupt people, but also from within the opposition, time gave the right to the denunciations with evidence and facts of the Democratic Party.

Despite the efforts to delegitimize the Investigative Commission, even with the vote against the report, which declared Edi Rama and his government to be a criminal organization, time proved it right that it was the right step to prove to the citizens and the Prosecutor's Office the corruption in this affair.

But SPAK should not stop, but should go to the end of this affair of 430 million euros, because the man who holds together the threads of crime and corruption is Edi Rama. SPAK should not hesitate to bring to justice anyone who has abused the trust of Albanians with their money.

In addition to this, the vetting of politicians is necessary. All without exception must be subject to investigation of assets and links to crime. This is the only way to prove to the Albanians who is clean and who is not, this is the only way to put an end to mud and slander with the money of corruption.

The uncompromising confrontation with corruption, the indisputable partnership with Albania's strategic allies, cleaning up politics, empowering citizens to vote for their representatives in Parliament, the vote of immigrants, limiting mandates, increasing control and accountability of the government are our guide in the path we have started for the liberation of politics and economy.
