State Police as Erion Veliaj's gang, the scandal with SPAK

Throughout yesterday, for almost 12 hours, a court hearing on the security measure for Erion Veliaj, his wife Ajola Xoxa and several businessmen took place at the GJKKO. What was striking was that many people gathered in the early hours of the morning to protest in front of the SPAK.

It could not have happened otherwise, just as they protested for Ilir Meta, for Sali Berisha, even Erion Veliaj could not resist his fight against SPAK. Everyone saw with voice and image that the hypocrisy had come to an end. SPAK was brutally attacked by the Prime Minister, prosecutors, and judges.

Erion Veliaj also used and abused his administration, the municipality's employees, to protest in front of SPAK.

But what is most scandalous is the behavior of the State Police.

The behavior of the State Police has been almost that of a criminal group in collaboration with Erion Veliaj. If Erion Veliaj had a structured criminal group, you would have had it in collaboration with the State Police.

The media closely followed the proceedings of the session throughout the day yesterday, not only the proceedings, but also the protest that took place outside at several points.

CNA has learned that SPAK announced and requested in the early hours of the morning that police forces be present near the building and take measures, and this was also done by the Republican Guard, which was quite concerned, as the Guard has the responsibility of protecting judges and prosecutors.

But what was striking from the journalists themselves who were reporting was that the Public Order Police did not appear at any time before SPAK.

Ilir Proda stopped the police from going and setting up a security perimeter and protecting the building where the prosecutors and judges were located.

In a shameful, criminal manner, the police officers directing traffic were removed, and moreover, municipal police officers were stationed at intersections, who then took off their vests and went to protest.

In the evening, it was noticed that when Erion Veliaj came out, his security was again violated, including his own, as the van transporting him passed through a crowd of hundreds of people.

Also, the head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, has emerged from the crowd. Judge Erion Bani has left, still in the presence of the people, together with prosecutor Olsi Dado.

A flagrant, criminal case, blackmail, threats made by the crowd to SPAK prosecutors, to the judge from the State Police, to Ilir Proda, who in fact has his phone at SPAK and is being investigated and suspected of possible connections to criminal groups.

What has happened is an unprecedented case of the State Police, which has been notified several times by the Garda to take measures to ensure not only the security perimeter, but also the lives of the judges and prosecutors who would be leaving the GJKKO, and this seems to be a clear case of collaboration and intimidation to threaten justice, just as the prime minister or some of his instruments did in the last 48 hours immediately after the arrest of Erion Veliaj./ CNA
