The head of the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group has reacted after the scandal of the protests in front of the Special Structure organized this afternoon, when militants incited by Veliaj's directors attempted to block the Police van that accompanied the mayor to the Durrës Detention Center.

The protesters, who were mostly employees and people close to Erion Veliaj, attempted to block the movement of prosecutors' and judges' cars. 

The head of the Parliamentary Group said that Ilir Proda should resign.

 

"The gangster villain at the head of the State Police who allows the crowd of thugs from the Municipality of Tirana to prevent the cars of prosecutors, judges and the corrupt Erion Veliaj from freely entering and exiting the GJKKO, refusing to take measures to guarantee public order, must be dismissed and immediately prosecuted for abuse of office.

"His courage in allowing the mob of thug directors of the Tirana Municipality to attack judges and prosecutors in their workplaces is the courage of a criminal who consciously violates the law. Punishment is needed, immediately!" - writes Bardhi./ CNA
