RAMA IN TWO TIMES/ How his attitude towards SPAK changed
The arrest of Erion Veliaj caused Prime Minister Edi Rama ...

Lawyer Brizida Gjikondi said today that Veliaj's arrest and Rama's stance on this investigation has emotionally affected the socialists,
In an interview on a television show, Gjikondi spoke about the arrest of Erion Veliaj, the hearing on the security measure, and commented on Prime Minister Edi Rama's positions following Veliaj's arrest.
He added that SPAK has always been appreciated for the work it has done and that it has received great support from Albanians.
"In this situation, facing justice should not be replaced with an emotional war, or collective hysteria that distracts attention from the essence. This situation should be faced calmly and without the involvement of the municipality staff, and what is happening these two or three days harms the left more than it helps it. Everything is focused on an emotional bed of the situation. As for this issue of the permission that the prosecutor of the case has received, I think it is the Court of Appeal that examines it. This emotional situation of analyzing or making politicians judges and prosecutors harms the left for the contribution it has made to justice. I also see it in the approach of Prime Minister Rama. We do not have the right to talk about evidence or involvement, the more we interfere, the more they harm, not only the interest of the SP, but also of all Albanians. Not far from yesterday in all the analyzes that have been done, the standard of corruption has fallen and this is thanks to SPAK.
It would be more appropriate for Mr. Veliaj to take a step back, not to collapse the entire left and its supporters, but also the Albanians who aspire to new justice. I am convinced that Berisha will not win the elections, for the aggressive model that he has had even towards the approach of the institutions. So I reiterate that in this situation, the majority should maintain calm. So as long as there is analysis, there is evidence, one can go to Strasbourg, as was done on January 21. The source of hope and of having justice never ends if you really think you are innocent. The lack of calm greatly hinders the Albanian left.
A political force must have a clear philosophy and should not compromise for anyone. I expect more calm from Mr. Rama, it would be better to have as few emotions and expectations as possible for justice that does not delay if you are regular. Of course, the parliament voted for the justice reform and it has been successful. What is happening is very big news. For the first time, justice is being attacked by politics. SPAK is the institution with the most nationwide support, by all Albanians. Unlike politics, SPAK speaks with documentation. They have entered the biographies of prosecutors and judges, this does not happen. This emotional way of these days has damaged the approach and a real gap could be created, "said Gjikondi. /CNA
