Prime Minister Edi Rama once again appears remorseful for his reactions towards justice institutions.

In his latest reaction, Rama says he supports SPAK and GJKKO but they could try Veliaj while he is free.

"The channels requested SP - DP debates on the Erion case, so they have not yet understood that we have moved from five years of silence to a new phase, when we will give ourselves the right to give our constructive opinions on the standards and violations in the processes, but we have not changed the essence of our position that the SP is not a law office for anyone who is in the process, including Erion."

First, the fact that the mayor's imprisonment without trial, for an issue that has nothing to do with the conditions under which this measure is given, by arbitrarily terminating his contract with the voters, when the trial could continue in a free state, has to do with standards, not with Erjon's guilt or innocence. The latter should be decided by justice, not by the SP debaters.

Second, there is no chance that we will become part of the nocturnal slanders on issues of justice, when the channels become like medieval marketplace courts, where stones are thrown from all sides and where the quacking of the political-media swamp reaches its climax.

And finally, no one will be able to drag us into political debates about SPAK and GJKKO, because between us and the swamp is the border between two worlds; that of the new European justice that we want, with complete independence from political power and democratic standards, and that of the old vulgar justice that will owl with its swamp, with complete political control and bargains like those that made this country the kingdom of injustice for 100 years.

We will have this kind of debate with the people, among the people, on the road to May 11, in full support of SPAK and GJKKO against corruption and of course, without remaining silent about the concerns that are created by mistakes or faults in relation to standards or the fact that suddenly, the beheading of Tirana is urgently done when we have entered the elections, while five years since its creation, SPAKU has no urgency to provide justice for January 21! That's it.

And besides the spectacle of slander and idiotic conspiracy theories on those channels, serve the truth a little, by asking where the evidence is, whether it is enough or not, whether the conditions for imprisonment without trial are there or not, and so on, democratic standards, professionalism, the dignity of people like those who have been intimidated, and so on. But these are not discussed with the opposing political parties, and even less so when one of the parties is the opposition swamp of the owl that says give me the vote to dissolve SPAK", Rama wrote on the "X" platform./ CNA
