The investigation against Ndreca began after a report from the Supreme State Audit Office.

Ndreca, analyzing the case of Veliaj's arrest, continued with Rama's refrain that SPAK has gone off the rails of constitutionality and that according to him, the arrest of Veliaj, accused of no fewer than 9 cases of corruption, is flagrant.

"The case of Erion Veliaj is flagrant. Removing a mayor elected by 160,000 voters is flagrant. He is in office. Prosecutors have a duty not to tamper with evidence. You cannot remove him from office due to his inability to manage the process," said defendant Ndreca./ CNA
