Deputy Agron Shehaj has left the Democratic Party for several months to open his own party.

Yesterday evening, Shehaj revealed the name of his party for the first time. He told Erla Mëhilli's show that he will call the party "Opportunity".

The deputy emphasized that the idea for this name was influenced by a waiter, during a conversation about escaping from Albania.

"I asked a waiter, I said why are you leaving? I didn't ask him at all if he was going to run away or not because I knew that he wanted to run away, that most of him would run away to Albania. He told me, I will leave, there is no chance here, there is no chance. And the name of the party is opportunity. Albanians need an opportunity. They just want an opportunity, they dream of an opportunity. In Albania, opportunities belong to those who have their hands in politics, with powerful people. I think we should give it a chance. No one asks for alms, they don't expect the state to enrich them, they expect them to have an opportunity, that's what they want, and that's why we thought that the name of the party will be opportunity", he emphasized./ CNA
