The member of the Presidency of the Democratic Party, Grigels Muçollari, has made a call to the citizens to participate in the protest organized by the Alliance for the Protection of the Theater against the mayor of Tiorana, Erion Veliaj.

Through a status on social networks, Muçollari says that a mayor caught in a previously unheard of corruption affair cannot continue to exercise his duties.

He declares that Veliaj has always avoided responsibilities and found guilty parties, but emphasizes that this time the citizens should not wait until SPAK's decision.

Erion Veliaj is the classic case of how a prophecy is self-fulfilling, when it preaches all the time the opposite of what it does.

He came into politics protesting with the slogan that became known, Enough, and today exactly this moral order is the only one that suits him, in the conditions he is in.

A mayor caught in a previously unheard of corruption affair cannot continue to exercise his office.

Only with Erion Veliajn, Tirana and Albania reached the day when the leaders of the municipality, with him at the head, decide to take the tenders themselves, the taxpayers' money, turning into market operators. This is a new standard in theft.

But there is something even more painful than this theft that citizens are seeing every day from the disclosure of the SPAK file. The more the extent of the violence comes out, the bigger the affair becomes. The more serious the crime, the more a stinging injustice appears in the eyes of people, that Erion Veliaj, the person responsible for this scandal, has immunity, is not touched by SPAK.
