Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, in a direct connection with the round table being held by the Democratic Party with businessmen and free professionals, said that in the field of business, just like in other fields, since 2013, an unrestrained regression has occurred.
"I am not talking about the imposition of a progressive tax, but about the exclusion of open competition, as well as the development of secret procurements. I'm talking about the speculation that is done with small business, with the tax imposed on the middle class.
The whole business is dominated by a group of oligarchs connected to the government, who make the law according to their interests.
For all of this, today the economy and business are in a desperate situation and require a solution as soon as possible."
Also, Berisha said that the realization of an economic program requires as a condition the removal of the narco-regime, the creation of a technical government and the conduct of free and fair elections.
"That's why today I call on businesses and enterprises to join this great effort of the opposition, so that Albania gets out of the monist system where it is currently", said the democratic leader. / CNA
