The Minister of Defense, Niko Peleshi, at the opening ...

Edi Rama would have to make a political decision regarding the transformation of the Municipality of Tirana into a nursery of corruption and corruption of public money. Not that the prime minister shares any philosophy different from that of Erjon Velia regarding the system with which he manages power, but because when the degeneration reaches the critical point, something must be sacrificed to protect the organization.
When he came to power, Edi Rama sought to legitimize himself with the thesis that there are no corrupt individuals but it is the system that corrupts them and he promised a government where corruption would be completely foreign. Today, when the Rilindash system has totally failed and has openly appeared as a swamp that stinks from all four sides, the prime minister is trying to remove the responsibility from himself, talking about individuals who are brought down by the temptation of power and the power of money, for rotten people who profit at his expense, so all the blame is personal.
But the scandal that brought down the Municipality of Tirana is proving that crime and corruption are not a matter of human weakness. This scandal showed that in the municipality, as in the government, it is the same system with which the Rilindsha organization operates. Erjon Velija does not copy the great boss only in behavior, speeches (which, for the sake of truth, are much worse than Rama's), in clothing or propaganda. He has installed in the Municipality the same power mechanism that controls the distribution of public money, the direct benefit from citizens' taxes, the laundering of millions through investments in trusted people and their circulation to buy votes and corrupt the media, with the ultimate goal of maintaining a undeserved power.
Basically, Velija did not invent something of his own, just the model of the boss, it is understood in a much more vulgar way, adapted in the municipality, just as this model is installed in the ministries, directors and agencies that manage millions of citizens' taxes. And if until now Edi Rama has tried to wash his hands of responsibility by saying that the stolen millions are apples and pears eaten by special individuals, Erjon Velija has refuted this prime minister's tale better than anyone.
Those millions of euros do not derive from the dishonesty of some officials, but are part of the strategy of the Rilindash organization, to get rich in a shameful and arrogant way and to buy the elections, as the only way that the cycle of greed will not be interrupted. The interceptions of the leaders of the Municipality of Tirana are a clear scheme of how this mechanism works and, despite the powerlessness of SPAK to hit the heart of corruption, it is clear to every Albanian how "Albania is stolen to steal votes and how votes are stolen" to steal Albania".
No matter how insensitive the prime minister seems to the scandals that are bothering him, the City Hall affair is a blow that goes directly to him, to the system with which he manages power. Well, some ministers came out and worked behind his back, I agree that some directors have stolen directly from the state budget and no one knew about it, but in the Municipality, how is it possible that the same system of extortion is functioning? But is this one who has been in charge of Tirana for 9 years another believer who has disappointed our prime minister or he, like the leader, did not know anything and they threw him behind his back?
If with this philosophy Edi Rama has defended and continues to defend himself in front of public opinion, it seems ridiculous and impudent if he applies it to his kanakaari in the Municipality. So Erjon Velia, the leader in the attempt, just like the big boss himself, was a victim of the human weakness of some individuals below him. This fable undoes even that bit of seriousness with which Edi Rama dramatizes his voice when he has to talk about the badness that happens in his government. In such a terrible case, as the Tirana Municipality affair, a responsible leader would have to make a strong political solution: take the capital to early elections with a candidate who would be able to distinguish the rotten image of those offered by Renaissance.
Edi Rama would certainly not make such a choice as a result of the responsibility that does not characterize him, but, at the stage where he is, he would have to sacrifice something big in the hope of recovering the image of the leader who does not forgive anyone who breaks the law and the trust of those who voted for them. After this scandal, he must lead Tirana to the elections, on the contrary, the visionary "leader" remains a being who drags himself behind the seat of power, crying tears of tears for those who wait for him in faith. As it is and as it has appeared before the Albanians every time the "braves" of the Renaissance are caught with leeks in their hands./ Lapsi.al
